All they have to do is type in the coupon code, or manually subtract the amount from your bill under the store section it belongs to (ex. produce, or meat. I have requested this before in other stores. I have also learned that Family Dollar accepts coupons, but not if they are printed off the internet. If my ink is low, they won't scan well, but the code can still be readable. Yes, I would let a manager know if you have trouble. It might mean you have to stand in the customer service line a few times, but once they train the clerks to use the coupons info correctly....so make a sugestion!!! Food is not going to get any cheaper, unless you grow your own.
We all have to stick up for ourselves sometimes. It makes us feel better when we do.
